Gavin
Director and Lead Tutor
Gavin founded Chronos Prep in 2020 after spending ten years teaching, writing curriculum, and training instructors for top tutoring companies in the Bay Area. He works with Chronos students on admissions test preparation, college essays, and executive function skills. Gavin gives students the skills to take control of their own learning processes, reach their highest potential, and figure out how to have fun while doing it. He holds a dual degree in Neuroscience and English from Amherst College.
Sarah
Tutor and Executive Function Coach
Sarah spent six years as a classroom teacher in the Bay Area before joining Chronos Prep as an academic tutor, executive function coach, and college application essay specialist. She holds a California Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential and a Montessori Teaching Credential, as well as a BS in Conservation and Resource Studies from UC Berkeley. Sarah is dedicated to helping students develop genuine curiosity and learn to love learning. On days off, you may find her hiking in the redwoods, yanking dandelions out of her garden, or losing herself in a new and intriguing book.
Elliot
Tutor
Elliott studies Data Science at UC Berkeley and tutors math and study skills for Chronos Prep. He enjoys spending lots of his free time reading - realistic fiction mostly, with maybe a bit of magical realism once in a while. When he’s not reading or writing code, you might find him playing intramural volleyball or pickup basketball. Elliott also loves painting with watercolors as a way to relax, unwind, and create.
